Hiya!

My name is Jen.

I was born in Germany and moved to Scotland when I was 5. I trained as an actor at Dundee College and RSAMD and graduated with honours in directing in 1998. Since then I have dedicated my career to working with other humans from all backgrounds, walks of life, ages and stages using theatre to make a difference.

I love being in a rehearsal room creating, playing, devising, rehearsing, laughing and working hard. I am dedicated to learning more about life, about others, about peoples stories and strive to be open minded, positive and encouraging.

I work with text, I devise, I have created verbatim works, commissioned new works, worked across genres from panto, expressionism, the classics, children’s puppet theatre to street theatre and invisible theatre.

I have experience as a lecturer up to BA level and as a community theatre maker and facilitator. I have worked with student actors and professionals - children and adults.

I have collaborated with designers, artists, musicians, sound designers, students, organisations, businesses, actors, singers, dancers, soldiers…..

I cannot wait for my next collaboration and my next adventure.
